One Year Ago: CG Talents Honoured at the Trophées des Français du Moyen-Orient by LePetitJournal, Sponsored by EDHEC Business School
On 1 February 2024, Charlotte Gervais, founder of CG Talents, received the Entrepreneurship Award at the Trophées des Français du Moyen-Orient. The award was presented during a ceremony held at the Résidence de France in Dubai, organised by LePetitJournal and sponsored by EDHEC Business School, with the support of the French Consul General, Madame Nathalie Kennedy.
Before launching CG Talents, a recruitment agency specialising in luxury, retail, and tech, Charlotte faced a path marked by challenges. In 2020, she arrived in London in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and took on a role as Global Marketing Manager for a luxury lingerie retailer. However, she soon realised that something was missing, and that this was not the mission she was meant to pursue.
After the first lockdown ended, she made the bold decision to leave London and relocate to Dubai, where everything began to fall into place. It was during this turning point that she had the clarity and courage to launch her own agency.
In April 2021, she started working as a freelancer and signed her first client. Fueled by her love for people and authentic human connection, she began building a recruitment service rooted in empathy, care, and precision. By September 2022, she proudly welcomed her first employee.
Today, CG Talents serves more than fifteen clients across several regions. Its human-first approach has become the agency’s signature and a key element of its brand identity. As Charlotte explains:

Her greatest pride? Stepping out of her comfort zone in a new country and succeeding in her field despite the odds. Supported by a team based in the Middle East and Europe, and backed by a network of over 12,000 professionals, Charlotte continues to bring together exceptional individuals to build high-performing, value-driven teams.
